HSR’s Mr. Cheng said it’s all about holding power now as most sellers still think the market will pick up. However thanks to deferred payment schemes, some buyers will have to fork up large sum soon when their properties are scheduled for completion and they are unable to find buyers. Sub-sales are already showing signs of strains. Three of the top five projects with the most sub-sales recorded slight dips in median prices last month, according to CBRE. These are Icon, Citylights and One Amber.
